Graduate School of Sports and Health Studies
The Graduate School of Sports and Health Studies, Master's Course aims to develop comprehensive education to acquire the broad knowledge and advanced expertise necessary to practice sport and health studies, and to nurture highly specialized professionals required by modern society in the field of sport and health studies. Specifically, in the health promotion field, we aim to develop human resources who can support active health promotion throughout life; in the sports management field, human resources who can implement and improve better organizational management and operation related to sports; and in the sports coaching field, human resources who can demonstrate advanced leadership skills in competitive sports and in the field of education. In the field of sports coaching, we train human resources who can demonstrate advanced coaching abilities in competitive sports and in the field of education.
In addition to the above, the doctoral course will also train students to be able to respond to globalization with a bird's eye view and flexible thinking ability in sports health studies, to have research and management skills to solve advanced and practical issues by making full use of cutting-edge theories and research methods, and to be able to work with people in various fields while demonstrating leadership with a rich sense of humanity. Institute for Solidarity-based Society
The Institute for Solidarity-based Society consists of three programs: NPO Program, Cooperative Program, and Labor Union Program. Graduate students are expected to learn about each organization in depth in each program, as well as across programs. Through such education, we aim to nurture the following individuals who are grounded in the founding spirit of "freedom and progress" of Hosei University and who have acquired the " Practical Wisdom for Freedom " promised in the Hosei University Hosei University Charter.
- We consider it our mission to build a "solidarity society" that connects individuals and organizations that are being fragmented in the face of globalization and intensifying competition.
- We can play a role in the sustainable development of NPOs, NGOs, social enterprises, various cooperatives, and labor unions that constitute a "solidarity society" and aim to practice public interest through solidarity.
