The Japan Society for the Promotion of Science (JSPS) is now accepting applications for Postdoctoral Fellowships (PD/DC) for the academic year 2024. If you wish to apply, you are required to submit an application form through your host institution. The University will accept applications as follows.
To apply, you will need an ID and password for the JSPS Researcher Training Program e-Application System issued by your host institution. If you wish to apply for TUAT as a host institution, please submit a Notification of Intended Application.
Please make the subject line of your e-mail [Notification of planned application for 2024 Postdoctoral Fellowship] applicant's name.
The form can be downloaded from the website of the Japan Society for the Promotion of Science (JSPS).
You can complete the form even before your ID and password are issued.
Starting with this application, applications for Grants-in-Aid for Scientific Research (Grant-in-Aid for Young Scientists) (hereinafter referred to as "Grant-in-Aid for Young Scientists") will also be accepted along with applications for Postdoctoral Fellowships. (hereafter referred to as "Grant-in-Aid for Young Scientists") will also be applied for together with the application for the Special Researcher.

The deadline for submission of application documents and electronic application is Thursday, May 11, 2023.

The requirements for the degree will be limited to those who have been a PhD student for less than 5 years* as of April 1, 2024.
Therefore, students who have completed their degree or who have been in a doctoral program for longer than the standard term of study are not eligible to apply for the PD program. 1.
