Scholarships (for undergraduate students)
(The Japan Student Services Organization (JASSO) Loan Scholarship is a loan scholarship system operated by the Japanese government as a scholarship program, consisting of a loan from the government and repayment by the scholarship recipients (graduates). Therefore, it must be returned after graduation. There are two types of scholarships: interest-free and interest-bearing. In addition, there is an emergency employment system for students who experience a sudden change in family finances.

(Note: The maximum monthly loan amount for students admitted in 2018 and later is only for those who meet the criteria.
If you change your student status (study abroad, leave of absence, retention, withdrawal, etc.) during the scholarship period, if you wish to withdraw from the scholarship during the academic year, or if you wish to change the monthly loan amount, please contact the scholarship office at each campus.
This is the information system of the Japan Student Services Organization (JASSO), which allows you to estimate the amount of your scholarship loan and the amount of repayment.
After the scholarship loan is completed, if any of the following conditions apply, students may defer the return of their scholarship until their scheduled graduation (completion) by submitting an "Application for Deferment of Enrollment (Notification of Enrollment)".
If you wish to apply, please submit the notification of enrollment to the scholarship office on each campus.
Alternatively, you can submit the Notification of Enrollment via Scholaranet Personal (available on PCs and smartphones).
The "School Number - Classification Code" of the school information required when entering the notification of enrollment on ScholarNet Personal is as follows.

Once you have been selected for a loan scholarship, you will need to submit a "Pledge of Repayment" form. (*The "Pledge of Repayment" will be mailed to the guarantor's address on file with the university approximately one month after acceptance.)
If there are any errors on the Pledge of Return, you will need to submit a Notification of Correction of Information on the Pledge of Return. Please download the form from the link below and submit it together with the Pledge of Return to the scholarship office at each campus.
How to Correct the Information on the Pledge of Return

(1) Correcting the Pledge of Return Please check the JASSO rules for corrections carefully. Please be especially careful when affixing your seal, for example, by test stamping it on a separate sheet of paper.
Please make sure to fill in and affix the seal of the person in charge of the correction.
(2) If you are receiving both Type 1 and Type 2 loans, you will need to make corrections on both forms.
(2) Fill out the Correction of Information on the Pledge of Return form (If you only need to sign and seal the form, you do not need to fill out this form).
Please print out the form below and use it (with the reverse side).

Please fill in all the columns for the person whose correction has occurred (not just the corrected part).
(Note: The student may fill in the other columns for any other person (Note: The Pledge of Return must be filled in and sealed by the person in question).

Correction of the scholarship recipient's name, furigana (initials), gender, and date of birth
