With the declining birthrate and aging population, changes in family functions, and rising expectations for the revitalization of local communities, there is now a need to construct new social systems and advance welfare practices to meet the diversifying demands for welfare.
This graduate school was established as a clinical graduate school with an eye on the community and the human mind in order to create a welfare society that takes a holistic view of human "life" (life) based on the local community, and to realize wellbeing for all people throughout their lives from the viewpoint of consumers.

The master's degree programs include the " Major in Clinical PsychologyMajor in Social Policy and Community Development " and the " Major in Clinical Psychology," which aim to train highly specialized professionals who will lead the formation of a welfare society, as well as certified psychologists and clinical psychologists. The Doctoral Course Major in Social Policy, Community Development, Clinical Psychology supports the development of theories and techniques of welfare society.
