The up-and-coming poet Shuhei Yamazaki's second collection of poems, "Dancing, Eating, Sleeping" (Shichosha, 2020), was a finalist for the 22nd Nakahara Nakaya Prize.
Rekitei is a poetry magazine founded in 1935 by Kusano Shimpei, Nakahara Nakaya, and others, and many influential literary figures have participated in its publication since the end of World War II.
The fact that Shuhei Yamazaki received the Rekitei New Poet Award sponsored by Rekitei means that he is highly regarded as a poet with a fresh personality and cutting-edge techniques.
