2. Information: Exemption from repayment for outstanding achievement
(1) Exemption from repayment for particularly outstanding achievements
Students who have received a Type 1 Scholarship at a graduate school and who have made particularly outstanding achievements during the period of the loan
The scholarship is available to students who are certified by the JASSO as having made particularly outstanding achievements during the period of the loan.
(2) (Master's and Professional Degree Programs) Return Exemption Offer System
This is a system whereby students with outstanding performance are offered a refund waiver at the time of advancement to higher education, which will be determined at the end of the loan period.
The application is made through the University in the year before the student plans to advance to the next stage of higher education.
(3) (Doctoral Course) Return Waiver Offer System
Students who are enrolled in the first year of a doctoral course or doctoral program in medicine, dentistry, pharmacy, or veterinary medicine in the relevant academic year and have been selected as first-class scholarship recipients,
The scholarship is available to those who enroll in the first year of a doctoral course or doctoral medical, dental, pharmaceutical, or veterinary course in the current fiscal year and are selected as Type 1 Scholars.
3. Information: "Post-tuition Payment System" for master's level graduate school students by the Japanese government.
(1) Outline of the system (Excerpt from the Japan Student Services Organization's "Guide to Scholarship Loans for Students in Graduate Schools for Academic Year 2024" )
The "Post-tuition Payment" system is a system under which students enrolled in a master's degree program do not pay tuition while enrolled in the program, but pay it later in proportion to their income after graduation,
The "Post-tuition Payment" system is a system under which students enrolled in master's and other graduate programs who use the system do not pay tuition during their enrollment, but pay it later according to their income after graduation.
Specifically, through the framework of the Type 1 (interest-free) scholarship, the recipient of the scholarship, which was previously limited to the scholarship recipient him/herself,

Therefore, the same procedures are basically required as for receiving a Type 1 Scholarship loan.
Any support you receive through the "post-tuition payment" system while you are a student must be returned as a scholarship after the support ends.
In addition, as with the Type 1 Scholarship, you will be eligible for the Return Exemption Program for Outstanding Achievement.
(*) Please check with the graduate school in which you are enrolled before applying for this program for information on how tuition fees will be paid if you use this program.
(2) Response by the University
The application for the "Post-tuition Payment System" is scheduled to be made in early April after enrollment at TMDU.
Therefore, the application fee, including tuition, must be paid during the application period, and the amount equivalent to tuition will be paid after the scholarship is applied.
（After the scholarship application is accepted, the amount equivalent to the tuition fee (but up to 776,000 yen) will be transferred to the applicant as a tuition support payment.
