Psychology Practicum

Department of Clinical Psychology

The Psychology Practicum aims to deepen students' understanding of psychology-related subjects, with a focus on clinical psychology, which they have studied at university, through practical training. The Psychology Practicum is a required course for those who wish to obtain their Certified Psychologist license.

Practicum Courses

The Psychology Practicum consists of the following three courses among the courses established in Appendix (1) of the School Regulations, and students are required to take all of the courses.

  1. Psychological Practicum (3rd year: 2 credits)
  2. Psychological Exercise I & II (3rd year: 2 credits (1 credit each))

Content and Format of Practical Training

The Psychology Practicum consists of a total of more than 80 hours of practical training in the medical field, which is mandatory, and "Clinical Psychology Training," which is a self-training experience (participation in training is only for those who wish to participate).
