<Ichigaya Student Life Division Guidance>
This guidance provides useful information on campus rules and manners, extracurricular activities, university facilities and insurance, fun and informative extracurricular education programs, the Volunteer Center in the Student Center, and various counseling offices to help students on the Ichigaya Campus have a better student life. We will explain about the various counseling offices and the Volunteer Center in the Student Center and other useful information.

Library

This program is designed to help students learn how to make use of the library and lead a more fulfilling university life.
Library staff will explain in detail how to enter the library, how to check out and return books, what kinds of books are available, how to search for books, how to use the library for self-study, and information on events. 
No advance registration is required. Each session will be held in the library lobby and last approximately 30 minutes.

How to Confirm Student ID Number, Integrated Authentication ID, and University Email Address (@stu.hosei.ac.jp)

After April 1 (Saturday) you will be able to confirm your student ID number, Integrated Authentication ID, and university email address (@stu.hosei.ac.jp). Please be sure to confirm these items as they are essential for your university life.
Please also enter the confirmed student ID number in the "Letter of Pledge and Consent" on the documents to be submitted at the time of enrollment.

■Confirmation Method
 Please confirm your student ID number from "My Page→Admission Procedures→Student ID Information" in the admission procedure system used for the confirmation of acceptance or rejection and admission procedures.

 

How to get a password for Integrated Authentication ID

After April 1 (Sat.), you will need to issue a password for the verified Integrated Authentication ID.
Please confirm the method of issuance from "[For students who will enroll in April 2023] How to start using network services" below.
Without completing the issuance of a password, students will not be able to access the various systems and other services used by the university.

Confirmation of Class Affiliation and Languages (*Updated 3/31)

Please confirm your class and other languages from "Faculty of Lifelong Learning and Career Studies New Student Quick Reference Chart".
To view the table, you will need your Integrated Authentication ID and password for the above items.

April 4 (Tue) Delivery of Student ID Cards and Collection of Documents Submitted by New Students (*Updated 3/31)

Student ID cards will be issued and the documents submitted by new students will be collected.
If you fail to submit the documents, your student ID card will not be issued. Please fill out all the documents and remember to bring them with you.

  Pledge and Agreement Form (prescribed form)
   Please fill in all items according to the example and bring the form with you.
   The name of the applicant and the name of the guarantor must be written in the applicant's own handwriting and seal must be affixed.
If you do not bring this document, we will not be able to issue a student ID card.

  z Copy of residence certificate (prescribed by the local government; photocopies are not acceptable).
   Please make sure to submit a copy without your personal number.
Please write your class, student ID number, and name in the upper right margin.
   (Example: Class A, 23M9999, Hoseitaro)

  0 Certificate of Graduation
   This is only for those who graduated from high school in March 2023. Those who graduated before that date are not required.
Please write your class, student ID number, and name in the upper right margin.

  (Only for those who were admitted through the B and C methods (Entrance Examination Using the Common University Entrance Test)) 2023 Common University Entrance Test Examination Voucher
   For those admitted by the above methods, this examination sheet will be used as an identification document for distribution of the student ID card.
If you do not bring this examination voucher, your student ID card will not be issued.
   The examination voucher will be returned on the spot after confirmation.

 

 

 

April 5 (Wed) Registration Counseling Session (*Updated 3/30)

This is an event where senior students from the Faculty of Lifelong Learning and Career Studies will be available to give advice and consultation on course registration.
This is not only a chance to gather information, but also a chance to get to know your classmates and senior students, so please participate actively.

   The event will be held on the 3rd floor of Fujimizaka Bldg. Please check the flyer for details.
   *Only face-to-face meetings will be held.
