Club Introduction

  • Founded in 1934
  • Belongs to the Kanto Student Soft Tennis Federation, Men's First Division League, Women's Third Division League

Hosei University has frequently placed high in the All Japan Student, East Japan Student, and Kanto Student Leagues, and has always been at the top level of the Japanese student world. The main results of the All-Japan Student Tennis Championships are six championships and one intercollegiate championship. Activities are based on three tennis courts (all-weather) at the Tama campus building, where students for both men and women are working toward their own goals for various tournaments.

While enjoying a sense of effort and accomplishment in their university life, the students also focus on their academic work, giving priority to their classes in the spirit of Monbushido (the way of both liberal arts and martial arts). In particular, we aim to win the All-Japan Student (Intercollegiate) Championship, but our goal is not to win or lose, but to become a group that strives daily to become confident and proud members of society as graduates of an athletic club.

Information about the soft tennis club can be found on the club's website, "Hosei University Athletic Association Soft Tennis Club". (We do not provide links to this site, so please use a search engine to find the information you are looking for.)
