Club Introduction

  • Member of the 1st Division League of the Amateur Boxing Federation

The boxing club, which celebrated its 85th anniversary in January 2009, is one of the most powerful schools in Japan, having produced a total of 39 champions in the All Japan Championships and 35 champions in the National Athletic Meet. In addition, the school sent Shigeyuki Dobashi to represent Japan at the Barcelona Olympics.
The school's alumni include Masashi Watanabe (former professor at Hosei University), Eiichi Miyazaki (former vice president of Toyota Crafts), Kazutoshi Watanabe (professor at Aichi University), Toshihide Ikemoto (former chairman of Matsuyama City Council), TEE (singer-songwriter), Hikaru Marugame (professional boxer), Takeshi Inoue (professional boxer), and many others who are active in a wide range of fields after graduation. They have been active in a wide range of fields after graduation.
