A social worker is a national qualification for professionals who provide consultation, advice, guidance, and other assistance to people who have difficulties in social life with specialized knowledge and skills. A social welfare secretary is a qualification required to work at a welfare office of a local government or as a welfare activity specialist at a social welfare council. Graduation with at least 3 of the 34 courses designated by the Ministry of Health, Labor and Welfare fulfills the qualification requirements.
The Social Research Specialist certification is granted to those who have acquired specialized knowledge of social research, as well as the skills and ethics to conduct surveys. Assistant Professional Engineer and Professional Engineer are titles given to those who have passed the national examinations based on the "Professional Engineer Law". They perform planning, research, design, analysis, testing, and evaluation of advanced and specialized science and technology, or provide guidance in these areas. If you pass the first professional engineer examination, you can be registered as an assistant professional engineer. After obtaining the professional engineer qualification, students can take the second professional engineer examination after gaining work experience. In addition, upon graduation, students are exempted from some subjects of the first examination.
Arborists are environmental conservation specialists who protect and nurture trees and forests to ensure their health by diagnosing and treating trees that have declined in vigor due to pests and environmental degradation, protecting and nurturing successor trees, and disseminating knowledge and providing guidance on tree protection. After earning the prescribed credits to become an assistant arborist and gaining practical experience, the applicant can take the exam for arborist certification.
This certification is required to manage hazardous materials at chemical plants, gas stations, etc. Places where hazardous materials are stored and handled above a certain level must be staffed by professionals with this certification. There are three types of certification: Class A, Class B, and Class C. The hazardous materials that can be handled differ. Upon graduation, students are qualified to take the Class A examination.
