How to Apply for Certificate Issuance
Please specify the method of return, such as regular international mail (air) or express mail service (EMS). We recommend Express Mail Service (EMS) with postal tracking service.
For regular international mail (air), please prepare a return envelope and address it yourself.
For Express Mail Service (EMS), our certificate issuing staff will fill in the return address. Please fill in the following information clearly on a separate sheet of paper.
Please prepare an international reply coupon (IRC: International reply coupon) that can be purchased at a post office overseas.
If it is difficult to obtain the above-mentioned Japanese stamps or international reply coupon (IRC: International reply coupon), international postal money order (IRC) can also be accepted. Please be prepared to avoid shortages. Please be prepared to avoid shortages, as the exchange rate on the date of receipt will fluctuate the amount received.
Please note that the remittance will be made to the applicant's address, so please enter the Ichigaya Campus address in the address box (Ichigaya Campus address: 2-17-1 Fujimi, Chiyoda-ku, Tokyo), regardless of the faculty you are applying for.
Please note that revenue stamps, stamps, cash, checks, etc. cannot be accepted.
Please check the postage for return postage, and prepare an international reply-paid stamp coupon (one IRC is converted to 130 yen) by converting the total amount of postage and handling charges. If there is a shortfall in the return postage, we will not be able to issue a return postage stamp.
If you are applying from overseas, please write your e-mail address in the margin of the application form.
Please note that it may take a few days for the certificate to be sent out due to postal conditions in your country. Please allow sufficient time for delivery.
