In the first session, Mr. Mitsui talked about how he established SET and moved to Hirota-cho, Rikuzentakata after the Great East Japan Earthquake in 2011, the activities of the non-profit organization SET, and his achievements as a Rikuzentakata City Council member for one four-year term.

In the second session, he talked about the outbreak of a new type of coronavirus infection that forced the cancellation of an exchange program between SET university students and local people, which made him question the significance of his own activities, and about SET's vision of a society with coronavirus.

In the final session, he talked about the reasons why he decided to go into academia and his future career as a policy entrepreneur. He also gave a heartfelt message to the students, saying, "It's not about what you can do or not do, but whether you will do it or not.

In addition, Mr. Mitsui carefully responded to the many questions, concerns, and impressions of the students who came to each session via the chat room.

The students who participated in the program said, "I am very happy to be able to participate in this project,
I was very impressed by Mr. Mitsui's thoughts about people's and community's benefit.
I was very much impressed by the words "it is not a question of what you can do or can't do, but whether you will do it or not" introduced at the very end of the lecture.
I was impressed by the power of Mr. Mitsui, who is developing his activities by fusing NPOs, politicians, and academia in his mind.
I thought it was amazing how powerful Mr. Mitsui is to fuse NPOs, politicians, and academia in his activities.

It was a good opportunity for the students to reflect on their future.
