◆Content of Research
In recent years, as part of factory automation (FA), the number of AGVs (Automated Guided Vehicles) operating in factories and warehouses has been increasing. Currently, any method of charging AGVs requires them to stop while charging, resulting in non-working time for the AGVs.
This research aims to develop an autonomous mobile robot, "WPT-Robot," which performs wireless power supply while following behind the AGV (trailing power supply), and to reduce the non-working time of the AGV during power supply. In this paper, we have improved the performance of the tracking power supply function.
Possible social contributions of this research include: (1) improvement of AGV operation time and associated factory productivity, and (2) application to factory automation.
