Mr. Shinya Kujirai, a graduate of Department of Electrical and Electronic Engineering, Faculty of Science and Engineering (Saito Laboratory), received the Academic Encouragement Award from The Institute of Electronics, Information and Communication Engineers.
This research investigated a method for two-objective optimization of circuit operation, which is the basis of new AI technology. This research is expected to lead to the development of AI technology that handles information such as voice and images in a stable and efficient manner.

The Academic Encouragement Prize is awarded to up-and-coming scientists or engineers who are deemed to be of outstanding potential for the promotion of science and technology in the fields of electronics and information communications.

Mr. Kujirai is currently enrolled in the Major in Electrical and Electronic EngineeringGraduate School of Science and Engineering.
