The American Football Club (nicknamed "Hosei Orange") has won the championship in the TOP 8 of the first division of the Kanto Student American Football League.
The team won the championship by winning all of its games in a special league organization (shortened number of games) affected by the spread of the new coronavirus.
This is the 19th league championship in total, the first in 9 years since 2012.
In addition, the team also beat Tohoku University in the East Japan representative game on December 5, and will represent East Japan in the Japan championship game (Koshien), where the Kwansei Gakuin University Fighters, representing West Japan, will be waiting for them.
The team will also beat Tohoku University in the East Japan Final on December 5 to represent East Japan in the Koshien Bowl, where the Kwansei Gakuin University Fighters will be waiting for them.
Everyone, please cheer enthusiastically for Hosei Orange as they aim for the top spot in Japan.
