While various elements are considered necessary to realize a sustainable society, technology should also play a major role. Technology is thought to play a major role in the coexistence of humans and the environment, and of humans and the environment. But how much have we considered the role that technology plays in today's society? The same is true for design. How often have we thought about how technological artifacts are designed and how their design changes our actions and lives? With this in mind, the theme of this seminar will be technology and design.

In regular seminars, students will have opportunities for input and output. As inputs, students will be responsible for literature reading and information gathering, as well as presentation (resume writing). In addition, there will be times when the student will be in charge of asking questions and moderating.
As outputs, the students will give mini-presentations on specific themes, and plan and manage dialogues and workshops. Dialogues and workshops are planned and managed in teams.
Reading sessions will be held to share reading experiences. We will set up assigned books that are different from the theme of the workshop, and conduct workshop-style sessions related to the assigned books.
Challenge debriefing sessions" will be held as an opportunity to expand practical experience for the future, in which participants will take on challenges they have never experienced before and report back.
We also plan fieldwork such as collaboration with seminars at other universities, dialogues with working people, and on-site investigations that address their own issues (questions) as needed.
In addition to regular seminars, we also hold seminar camps and get-togethers.
