
 Field Study is a program designed to enhance students' awareness of issues by taking them out of campus to experience firsthand the social and natural environments in which they live and work. The program offers a variety of courses in Japan and overseas, including nature conservation, community development, agriculture, local welfare, culture, international cooperation, and energy. 
The following courses have been conducted overseas.
	-  China: "Studying Global Environmental Issues in the Deserts of China's Yellow River Basin"
-  Cambodia: "Learn about the lives of people in developing countries and the sites of international cooperation with all five senses
-  India: "Experiencing the site of biodiversity conservation in a developing country" (in Japanese)
-  The Netherlands/Germany: "Pursuit of International Peace: Understanding the Field of International Law
-  Germany: "City Planning and Environment in Germany
-  Sri Lanka: "Sustainability in Developing Countries: Recovery from Disaster and Ecosystem Conservation
-  Hawaii: "Island Sustainability and Hawaiian Studies
 Form
	-  Applicants from 1st to 4th year (with on-campus selection)
-  Duration: 10-14 days during summer or spring break
 Purpose
	-  Students deepen their learning through global experiences.
    
 Overseas Field Study Incentive Program
    
     The Faculty of Sustainability Studies provides a partial scholarship to encourage as many students as possible to participate in the field study program abroad. Information on eligible courses and amounts will be posted at the time of application.
