Approximately 400 major laws and ordinances. Contains approximately 14,000 precedents. Began publication in 2008, replacing "Koroku-ho".

e-Government Comprehensive Contact Center Law Data Providing System

Data is maintained by the Administrative Management Bureau of the Ministry of Internal Affairs and Communications based on the Official Gazette, and can be searched by law name, abbreviated law title, law number, and promulgation date. However, only laws that have already been enacted can be searched.

All promulgated laws and regulations are extracted from the Official Gazette and compiled in order of promulgation date.

Look up in the Official Gazette

The Official Gazette is the fastest way to obtain information on promulgated laws and regulations. The Supreme Court (December 28, 1957) has ruled that laws are promulgated in the Official Gazette.
