Reading Session :October 25 (Monday), 17:00-18:00
Description: A reading session was held on what participants thought and noticed throughout the entire event.
Through active dialogue among participants, the following opinions were expressed.
I gained courage to choose the best path I believe in, rather than choosing to be liked by others.
I had a self-centered view of "the courage to be disliked," meaning that all I needed was to be good enough for myself, but I gained an awareness of the importance of being a part of the community and contributing to others.

The reasons for the change in attitudes toward reading are as follows.
・ "I had an impression that reading was 'tiring' and 'boring,' but now I can read in my spare time, and I can make the most of the gaps in my life, such as when I am on the train!
I now know the benefits of reading.
I had an image that reading is something to be enjoyed alone, but through this event, I realized how fun it is to share opinions and impressions about books with others.

I would like to participate in an environment like the Hosei Book Lab because there are not many places around me where I can output what I have read.
I wanted to participate in an environment like the Hosei Book Lab because there are not many places around me where I can output what I have read.
I have more opportunities to read books than usual, and I was able to consciously set aside time to interact with books, which made my time here very fulfilling.
This was a very popular event, and the number of openings filled up within 3 hours of the announcement.
Hosei University Library plans to hold more fun events in the future, so please join us.
