Shunsuke Shiomi and Kazune Kubota, both students in the Major in Frontier Bioscience otechnology, received the Best Presentation Award at the 55th Annual Meeting of the Japanese Society for Protist Biology held in September 2022 at Hosei University Koganei Campus.
The Japanese Society for Protist Biology is a society of researchers who use diverse protists as research materials, and the 55th Congress was held mainly in the Multimedia Hall in the West Wing of the Koganei Campus with Professor Masafumi Hirono, Faculty of Bioscience and Applied Chemistry as the President. At this year's conference, three presenters, including Dr. Shiomi and Dr. Kubota, received the Best Presentation Award.
