Access from the nearest station
Get off at Higashi Koganei Station on the JR Chuo Line, exit through the central ticket gate, board the Keio Bus "Sekinobashi Circulation" from the bus stop at the north exit of the station, and alight at the "Hosei University" stop (approx. 5 minutes). If on foot, about 15 minutes.
Notice for students taking the General Admission Examination in February.
- The bus service will be increased on the day of the general entrance examination, which is usually held in February, and details will also be posted on the university's entrance examination website. There are no guides or other staff on the way from Higashi Koganei Station to the Koganei Campus, so we recommend that you use the Keio Bus.
- Small streets in the residential area are the residents' daily roads, and also, entering the narrow streets will lead you to get lost. Therefore, if you are on foot, please walk along "Higashi-Dai-dori".
- Special rapid trains and commuter trains on the JR Chuo Line do not stop at Higashi-Koganei Station. Also, please note that this is a different station from "Koganei" station (Tochigi Prefecture) on the JR Utsunomiya Line and Shonan Shinjuku Line.
- In past years, many students take the General Entrance Examination for Science and Engineering on February 11 and 14 at the Ichigaya Campus. Therefore, please be sure to confirm the examination site.
