Significance of Career Development Support Programs (Internships, etc.)

Based on the "Basic Policy on the Promotion of Internships and Other Career Development Support Programs for Students (Three Ministry Agreement of June 13, 2022 by the Ministry of Education, Culture, Sports, Science and Technology, Ministry of Health, Labor and Welfare, and Ministry of Economy, Trade and Industry)", the following four points are set forth.

(1) Promotion of career and specialized education, and enhancement of practical education
(2) Stimulate students' motivation for learning
(3) Fostering a high level of professional awareness and improving adaptability to the workplace
(4) Develop human resources with independence, originality, and a willingness to take on challenges

Basic Requirements for Career Development Support Programs (Internships, etc.)

(1) The program must be based on the "Basic Approach to the Promotion of Internships and Other Career Development Support Programs for Students (agreed upon by the three ministries of MEXT, MHLW, and METI on June 13, 2022)".
(2) The program must be scheduled in a way that does not interfere with the student's studies.
(3) The program must be open to a wide range of student options, so there must be no definitions of the type of person sought.
(4) The program must be clearly distinguished from a part-time job, since it does not provide labor.
(5) A detailed program (specific details of each day) must be presented in advance.

Disclosure of Career Development Support Program (Internship, etc.) Recruitment Information to Students

1 Requirements for disclosure

(1) The above basic requirements must be met.
(2) The program must not be contingent on the selection of students at the university or on the application process through the university (open call for applications only is acceptable).

2 Disclosure Method

Information on career development support programs (internships, etc.) will be posted on the job posting website, "Job Posting NAVI".

 Even if a student is selected to participate in a program posted on this site, we will not issue a letter of recommendation, affix a seal, or exchange a memorandum of understanding with the student. (There is no problem if you exchange them directly with the students.)
