The 2023 Entrance Ceremony was held on Monday, April 3, at the Nippon Budokan (Kitanomaru Park, Chiyoda-ku, Tokyo). Approximately 12,500 new students and their parents attended the morning and afternoon sessions.
In his ceremonial address, President HIROSE Katsuya said, "At a time when society as a whole is searching for a new way of being, we are building the future of the university together. While searching for and creating something new involves hard work, it is also very rewarding and exciting. I welcome you here today as colleagues in these activities, and I look forward to working with you as we continue to develop the future of Hosei University. He also sent a message of encouragement to the new students.
The guests of honor were Mr. Noriyuki Morioka, representative of Morioka Shoten, Mr. Nobuo Takenaka, president of the Hosei University Alumni Association, and Mr. Mitsuo Kujiraoka, president of the Hosei University Supporters' Association. Mr. Morioka said, "Hosei University offers an environment where you can learn what you like as if you were playing. Please enjoy this environment to the fullest.
