＜Hosei University will hold a lecture event to commemorate the opening of the Mathematical and Data Science and AI Program (MDAP) and the Data Science Center (DSC).

Hosei University has established the "Hosei University Mathematics, Data science& AI Program (MDAP: Mathematics, Data science& AI Program)," the first of its kind in all faculties, to develop human resources capable of creating new value and contributing to the creation of a sustainable society through the use of data science and AI. This program is the first of its kind to be offered in all faculties of Hosei University, and will begin in September.

This program is expected to be accredited by the Ministry of Education, Culture, Sports, Science and Technology (MEXT) as a "Mathematics, Data science& nbsp;and AI Program.

Today's advanced information society is moving to the next stage of creating new values and services from the vast amount of data generated every day. The utilization of this big data, which covers a wide range of fields including business, medicine, science and technology, requires not only knowledge of conventional statistics, but also an understanding of AI technologies such as machine learning, which has developed rapidly in recent years.

Furthermore, in order to ensure the quality of education in the MDAP (Mathematics, Data science and AI Program) and to promote the "education of practical wisdom" that Hosei University aims to achieve by connecting the university, students and society, we have established the "Hosei University Data Science Center (DSC). (DSC)" will be established in order to guarantee the quality of education in the Data Science and AI Program (Mathematics, Data science and AI Program), to connect the university and students with society, and to promote the "education of practical knowledge" that the university aims for.

To commemorate the opening of the DSC, we will hold an event inviting people who are active in the front lines of industry to explain DX and AI in an easy-to-understand manner, regardless of your background in the humanities or sciences.
