Sagamihara City, Kanagawa Prefecture, and Hosei University have decided to conclude a Comprehensive Collaborative Agreement, and a ceremony was held on Friday, November 20, 2020, at the main building of Sagamihara City Hall.
Attending from Sagamihara City were Mayor Kentaro Motomura, Deputy Mayor Hirotaka Shimonaka, Citizens Bureau Director Shisuyo Watanabe, and Citizens Bureau Deputy Director Akira Iwamoto, and from Hosei University were Executive Trustee and Vice President Masato Masuda, Student Center Deputy Director Hiroto Asano, and Tama Affairs Division Director Kazuyuki Niizuma.
Hosei University's Tama Campus is adjacent to Sagamihara City, and the Shiroyama area is home to the University's athletic training facilities, including a soccer field, horse racing track, and multipurpose field.
Sagamihara City and Hosei University have long enjoyed a relationship through the opening of the library to the public and the holding of open lectures.
In addition, the track and field team has demonstrated its athletic skills at the Sagamihara City Elementary School Union Sports Day, and there are several student groups based in Sagamihara City that conduct local activities.
In the future, we will continue to cooperate with them in the following matters
(1) Educational and cultural matters
(2) Human resource development
(3) Health and welfare
(4) Environmental preservation
(5) Community development
(6) Industrial development
(7) Disaster prevention
(8) Matters other than those listed in the preceding items that are deemed necessary for mutual coordination and cooperation.
Based on this agreement, we will further deepen our cooperation with Sagamihara City and continue our efforts to contribute to the community.

The signing ceremony was held in the First Special Conference Room of the City Hall Main Building.
The ceremony went smoothly and the agreement was signed.
