Hosei University is planning to hold the "21st Environmental Exhibition" in November 2020.
To commemorate the "21st Environmental Exhibition," the Center for Environmental Studies invites Dr. Seiji Koga, a senior researcher from the National Institute of Advanced Industrial Science and Technology (AIST), who has conducted micro-particle observation research in the Southern Ocean or Chichijima Island in the Ogasawara Islands as a member of the Japanese Antarctic Regional Observation Expedition.
The speaker has participated in the Japanese Antarctic Research Expedition and has conducted observation and research of microparticles in the Southern Ocean and Chichijima Island in the Ogasawara Islands.
In this lecture, understanding the relationship between algae and microparticles in cloud formation and various effects of microparticles on the atmospheric environment revealed by observation data will lead to accurate prediction of the future global environment.
This fall, let's explore the mysteries of "Earth" through cutting-edge research on algae, which are deeply involved in the formation of Ekopyon and clouds.
